Water Babies Swim Lessons
Building Water Confidence for a Lifetime
Our swim lessons typically start at 18 months old. Our client ages range from 18 months old through adulthood. Living in Florida, we are surrounded by water, and learning to swim is a MUST for everyone of all ages. Water safety skills are our #1 concern, especially for our younger students. Learning to swim is a life-saving skill.
Lessons are 25 minutes long.
We travel from Fort Pierce to Jupiter for lessons, including Hutchinson Island. (We do not travel to Vero Beach or Sebastian.)
Our lessons are private lessons and one-on-one. This allows the swimming instructor to ensure each lesson is tailored to the needs of each student.
Yes, we are able to help with swim team preparation or refresher lessons for all swim strokes, including diving.
Our swim lessons are designed to create a positive and fun environment for your child to learn the necessary skills to become a confident swimmer. With our experienced instructors, we ensure that each child receives individual attention to help them progress at their own pace.
Safety is our top priority. Our instructors are certified and trained in the latest techniques to ensure that your child is safe while learning to swim. We also have strict safety protocols in place to provide a secure and nurturing environment for your child.
At Water Babies Swim Lessons, we understand that every child has unique needs and learning styles. Our approach is tailored to meet each child's needs, with a focus on building water confidence and developing essential swimming skills.
If your child falls into the pool unsupervised, are they able to get themselves to the side of the pool and climb out of the water? These are all lifesaving skills that are crucial for everyone, especially in the Sunshine State!
According to the CDC, drowning is the top cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 in the state of Florida, and over 400 children drowned in 2022 in the state of Florida alone.
A refresher class can allow your child to recall and practice all the skills they have previously learned to ensure they are “summer-ready” and will always be safe around or in water.
The Red Cross encourages learning the following five skills to be considered an independent swimmer:
• Enter water that’s above your head, then return to the surface
• Float or tread water for at least one minute
• Turn over or turn around in the water
• Swim at least 25 yards
• Exit the water
